Jeanette Gray

Bio

Jeanette Gray is a CrossFit L1 trainer and owner of CrossFit 219 and CrossFit 219 South, who began CrossFit in 2018.  Jeanette has been a competitor in athletics, playing basketball at the Division 1 level with Valparaiso University.  She was inducted into the Valparaiso University Hall of Fame in 2008.  Prior to college, Jeanette played golf, basketball, and softball in high school at Valparaiso High School.  She was selected 1st Team All State and named an Indiana All Star her senior year (basketball).   Jeanette followed her collegiate career with a professional career in women’s tackle football.  She was a member of the Chicago Force who won the WFA national championship in 2013.  Jeanette was named team offensive MVP that year, and league offensive MVP in 2014.  Jeanette won two IFAF World Championships (2013, 2017) while playing for the US Women’s National Tackle Football Team.  Jeanette also coaches our athletes for our Elite Sports Performance program.


Jeanette teaches PLTW Engineering courses and coaches softball at Lake Central High School in Saint John, Indiana.
